Posted: 11/30/09 at 3:09amSo I'm playing a character in a show right now who was a victim of child abuse (or domestic abuse, the script doesn't really say), and when doing research for a role I like to watch documentaries. Does anyone know any good documentaries about abuse? Thanks.

Frederick Wiseman's film DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (and its counterpart, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE 2) is probably the best available documentary-wise. It's a shame so few people know of his work, and his films on other subjects are equally absorbing.
