Posted: 10/20/10 at 10:47pmI spent the day at a funeral and was discouraged from wearing purple, but as soon as I got back to my dorm, I put on a purple dress, purple leggings, purple high heels, a purple lace shrug, purple earrings, a purple velvet blazer, purple sunglasses, purple eyeshadow, and a purple pimp hat that I bought from Busch Gardens. However, I feel like if I raised awareness of anything, it was of my own insanity.

Not to threadjack but it is also National Epilepsy Awareness Month and purple are the colors to wear for awareness. I have been working with my area's National Foundation (I had benign rolandic epilepsy until I was 14).
Lots of kids wore purple on my campus yesterday.
