What the hell is this really about? Was he in love with Jackson? What influence is he under on the air? That slurred speech is not some eccentric impediment. And his answers to the questions That Shall Not Be Asked. What a perverse and in every way bizarre performance. If he's so concerned with protecting Jackson, why is he there at all? Subjecting himself and Jackson's legacy to so much lurid speculation? Why entertain paternity/sperm donation /dna questions if you are uninvolved. All of the rambling is borderline incoherent.
Like this story needed any more drama...
It's simple - these losers all want their 15 minutes of fame and unfortunately you have people like Larry King enabling them.

Gail Collins in Today's Times:
"...there was Jackson's skin doctor ... announcing that he was not, 'to the best of my knowledge,' the biological father of Jackson's two oldest children. (Isn't that the sort of question a person's dermatologist should be able to answer without hedging?)"
Yeah, that hedging. Beyond strange.
And last night, he refused to discuss it as if it's too painful. Again, his very appearance -- "A week ago, Michael was dancing in my office!" -- suggests a crackpot unleashed.
Yes, to see them enabled for ratings suggests we won't see the end of this story for years.
As a result of this ridiculous and incessant coverage, I've decided to give the morning news programs a moratorium for the entire summer. Who needs them? I certainly don't!

Hey Dot -- there is always TVLand, or in my case, SportsTalk Radio.
tommyboy, I've been relegated to watching Colin Cowie on GetMarried on Lifetime at 7:30am. He's such a trainwreck, yet I can't turn him off!
