Thinking of auditioning?
Working yourself up to choose some speeches?
Now is about that time, time to get going ... to get on the case.
Maybe I, or my book, 'The Excellent Audition Guide', can be of assistance. If so, feel free to contact me. www.excellentauditions.com
best wishes and good luck

These are really good tips. The competition to get into top theatre/MT programs ( CCM, CMU, ITHICA, BOCO,JUILLIARD, TISCH etc etc) has really stepped up in the last couple of years. More and more kids are hiring Acting coaches and college audition coaches, it would seem. The Acceptance rate to these schools are very low so I think it is completely worth the money to by books like these and hire audition coaches.

You might want to try posting the book on the Theatre/drama college confidential website. You would probably get a bigger response there and many current acting students, teachers, parents, professionals and potential theatre majors inhabit that site daily .http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/theater-drama-majors/

Thanks for the kind words and the info Nate. Though my book is for UK drama schools in particular, the rules and the advice is the same across the world. Whichever way you look at it, the competition is fierce and you have to be organised and motivated to get anywhere.
