Dreamgirls movie poster change?

I noticed that here in LA, I've seen a few 'new' posters going up around town. They look almost identical to the current poster of the backs of three girls in beaded dresses, but the newest version has changed the girl on the far right. She is now in profile and not as skinny as before. Also, there's a lot more going on in the 'cesticular' area, if you catch my drift.

Has anyone else seen these?

I noticed that, also. I saw the first one and thought "Where's Jennifer Hudson?"

Just a guess, but I would say the first one, because it was in use shorter than this one will be, probably.

I couldn't find the second one, but here's the first one.



It's kind of funny how you can totally see Beyonce's...um, assets.

They're no fools. They've seen the initial reaction to the film, and they're putting Hudson into the mix.

Yep. She's becoming the favorite, and they have realized that people will see the poster and notice that they're all skinny-minis.

I hate the official poster- it looks like 3 Beyonce's.

The one you all are referring to (I believe) is the one used on the single disc sountrack release:



Which I greatly prefer over the other image.

My original thought is still valid then - they're capitalizing on the very REAL buzz around Ms. Hudson. They're smart - and good for her.

Only in Hollywood would that image of Jennifer Hudson be deemed too fat.
Look how amazing she looks in it! I'm sure they did a little digital slimming (hello, Katie Couric!) but...wow.
