Drew Carey: Performs 'Brotherhood of Man'

I just saw Drew Carey and cast performing the entire scene from How to Succeed... that accompanies "Brotherhood of Man".

The show's description:
When the owners threaten to close the store and fire everyone, Drew steps in to help save his co-workers' jobs. The show's milestone 100th episode features one of the most ambitious dance and singing numbers "The Drew Carey Show" has ever done, "Brotherhood of Man," from the musical, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." Hal Linden ("Barney Miller") guest stars.

Drew did a lot of song and dance type numbers... is he a closeted broadway fan?

I remember watching that episode when it first aired. Of course, I had absolutely no idea it was from H2$. It was only afer I bought the video in the $3 bargain bin a few years later at Meijer that I realized that is where it was from.

CK, he's not a closeted fan, he's definitely a fan.
Then again, he's also big on improv comedy and there's a huge base of musical theatre training in most improv companies (check out UCB, Chicago City Limits, etc...).

He had a whole musical special once on his show (he often does musical #s - rock, showtunes and whatnot)

He was also in Disney's Geppetto if you remember.. (music/lyrics by Schwartz)
