Who will be better:
Hoffman in Capote or Toby Jones in Infamous . Saw a trailer of the later & he was very good
I haven't seen the trailer or any scenes from Infamous, but I think Toby Jones will have a bit of a leg up since I think he looks a lot more like Capote. Plus, while I've seen him in a couple of things, I'm not nearly as familiar with him as I was with PSH, which I think will also help. As great as Phil was, I don't think I ever really forgot that it was him up there, you know?
I'll be very curious to see Infamous...Oh wait, I take my first statement back, I did see a very brief clip, just of Sandra Bullock, and I must say (from the little that I saw) I think Keener's Harper Lee looks to be much stronger.

I heard Sigourney Weaver is fantastic in this as well.
I saw Robert Morse in Tru....incredible...I feel better than Hoffman.
Morse was indeed quite good in Tru
I couldn't sit through more than fifteen minutes of Capote before I wanted to rip my ears off from listening to Hoffman talk. There's no chance of me going to see ANOTHER version of the same irritating voice!

Has anyone else seen this? I saw it over the weekend, and really enjoyed it. I thought Jones as Capote was very believable - almost too dead on. Weaver as Babe Paley was great - although I am not used to seeing her in not so strong women's roles. Sandra Bullock was fantastic - the only thing I thought was bizarre was Paltrow...three minutes and nothing more. She sings very well - but who the heck was she portraying? And I wanted Diana Vreeland to be more of a prescense.
