And Avatar. I'm the one person in the world who hasn't seen it.

It'll be interesting to see how AVATAR translates to the small screen. Will the cliched script be even more evident without the dazzling 3-D and huge IMAX screen to distract?
Roscoe, the cheesy script and awful acting were pretty obvious on 3-D, I can only imagine they will be glaring at home sans the spectacle.
So excited about The Great Mouse Detective. One of my favorite Disney films.
On Avatar, James Cameron said he would only do Avatar once movie technology caught up with his vision. I don't know, maybe to build anticipation they hold the DVD release until home entertainment technology catches up with 3-D. Too much to ask of Hollywood but I doubt they need any more money with this film.

I hadn't spotted SUMMER HOURS and IMAGINARIUM OF DR. PARNASSUS on the list, two I'd very much like to get.
SUMMER HOURS was lovely, a very beautiful and moving film featuring the sublime Juliette Binoche. DR. PARNASSUS is a more problematic film, but I'd very much like to get another look at it.
