E! "Fight For Fame" A Joke

Has anyone else seen this horrid show? They start with five egomanic actors (who, in their one-on-one interviews, claim they are the best and the agency would be stupid not to sign them). After such "intense" eliminations as a 30 second monologue or doing some inane improv exercise, one ends up with a one year agency contract.

The best is the final round where the two finalists tell the agents why they should be signed (which we know happens at all auditions). They always end up talking about how they were abused children or how they came to town with $2 and always ended up crying.

I've seen only one person who I think has any talent out of this pit of stupidity. Anyone who doesn't know show business must think it is so easy to get an agent and work.

i hate reality TV. It is NOT real.

The girl who played my Ado Annie when i Will in OKLAHOMA in HS was on fight for fame recently and she clued us in on how much of a hoax it was.

1) They costumed everyone (and gave her uglier clothes than everyone else i might add)
2) they tell you what to say
3) they told a girl who had lived in London for 4 years to use her British accent all the time, and then commented on how she needed to get rid of it...
4) after the monologs (that THEY CHOSE for the actors) were performed they told "ado annie" that she had the best monolog performance out of everyone and then dismissed her first becuase she wasnt what acme was looking for.

The list goes on.... She already has parts in the second Priates of the Carrabean and tons of other stuff, so it doesnt matter that much. I will admit that the Boy who won her episode was very good.

speaking of reality television...


...how come the cameraman is already outside the vehicle and on the road when Steve Irwin "spots" a snake, stops driving, jumps out of the jeep, and grabs it?

Was it just a random citizen who happened to be passing along with a camera?

Maybe it was someone with an obsession with filming the ground...
...the possibilities are endless.

Because Steve Irwin is an idiot. And I say that as a proud Australian.
