sorry, have to vent

Sheesh, what do these people think. I've been an EBAY seller for years........and it always cracks me up, some newbie will see an auction, and email and ask if they can buy the item outright, rather than wait the length of the auction.
I just want to tell them.......sure, I was just waiting for YOU to email, so that I can make LESS money by NOT finishing the auction.........ARRGH, I'm trying to make money, people!

abba, I politely tell them that. I've done well on ebay.
I look for close-outs, buy them cheap, and then sell......made a fortune (well not a fortune, but a good amount) when Fiestaware discountinued their chartreuse color, and a store here sold all off really cheap, I quadrupled my original investment.
Now I'm just trying to minimize my life, so am selling off a couple of collections of Nuns, and then ducks......I have too much stuff.....and I want GREAT BIG STUFF! hehehehe

You have ducks? I collect rubber ducks. Have any of those?

PM me as well.

I sell some original comic book art on ebay and people will always want to buy it out from under the auction.

A couple people have offered me amounts of money I would have been a fool to ignore.

And I am no fool!

I am not a new e-bayer but I did that once to someone - it ended up paying off because that's how I got the item.

Not to mention this one time I accidently put in a bid of $4000 for a CD (meant 40.00).

Apparently the other person put in a lot more than 4000.

I hope you didn't end up as the highest bidder Thenardier

I have a auction going right now... it's not to win the item, it's a fundraiser... it worked for my friend Viks but no one put a bid on mine so far.
