I have been a fan for years, and without any spoilers - BORING. I am gravely disappointed.

Preach it!! I was a die hard ER fan as well, but now I don't watch it. It's not the same anymore.... Anthony, Clooney, Gloria, and my guy Noah!!
Where's Leguizamo?

This one was stale, poorly written and poorly acted.

Leguizamo and Kristin Johnson join the show later this season.
The only bright moment was Luka sharing the story about his son. I'm glad they are finally starting to explore his feelings about his life in Croatia. Otherwise, I agree, pretty darn boring.
Oh..and what the hell did they do with the real Alex? I don't like the new one.
The cop said, "Are you Alex Taggert?" I thought, "Nope, not him." I liked the old kid better. And is anyone really pining for Luka and what's her face to stay together?
They should have given up on ER a few years back. My loverly, bitchy Kerry wasn't even on! She is suffering from "Out-TV-Characteritis." She came out, they killed off her lover, now there is nothing for her. Damn them.
I can't stand Sam or her kid, and yes, eventhough I disliked the old Alex, I dislike this one even more. And why so many new interns? BORING! CSI premier I thought was pretty boring too, especially compared to last season's finale.

Just bring back his arm then!
I know he's dead. I say it's time for a miraculous resurrection. Or like, a helicopter possessed by his spirit dive-bombs the ER.
Well, I'm a big Linda Cardellini fan, so I have to say this episode didn't bore me one bit. Especially all of the full frame running shots! Woot! She's a hottie and deserves all the screen time she can get.
But in all honesty, the episode's plot seemed lethargic, and not exactly a big-time opening. I just hope that it's the precursor of something big.

last year needed to be er's last year. I stopped watching regularly in the middle of last season because it's gotten so boring. I turned off last night's episode after like 2 minutes. Plus I refuse to watch now that my love noah wyle is gone.

Well, I too was a die-hard er fan once-upon-a-time. I guess the fact that I completely forgot the season premier was on last indicates that I don't give a damn any more.
Then again, it's east to forget a show is on when it's hardly ever on to begin with.
Personally, I think the show should've ended when Mark Greene died. It has sucked ever since.
Let's remember the good times:
1)"Love's Labor Lost" - season 1: The one where Mark does the emergency C-section and the woman died. Great great great television.
2)"The Flood" - can't remember the season: The one with Doug in the flooding storm sewer.
3)The one in which Lucy died: Not because I disliked her, it was just a great episode.
Great bit Characters:
1)Patrick: the over-wieght black kid with learning disabilities who always wore a Chicago Bears helmet: What ever happend to him?
2)Paco?: The homeless Mexican who always wanted Halle to give him a bath
3)Jim Belushi as a car wreck patient
4)Sally Field as Abby's mom
5)Alan Alda as the doctor with Alzhiemer's
Great Moments:
1)Mark says "sh!t" (on broadcast TV) when he falls after losing control of one side of his body as his tumor was killing him.
2)The look Mark and Elizabeth give each other when their pagers go off after Lucy and Carter have been stabbed
3)Racheal says "it's Ecstasy" after Elizabeth finds a pill fragment in the baby's vomit.
4)The brain surgen in New York tells Mark is tumor is operable.
5)The same surgen later tells Mark his recurred tumor is NOT operable.
6)While playing basketball Mark tells Carter he has a brain tumor. Carter asks "What are you going to do?" Mark replies "Die I guess."
7)Mark awakes nad finds his father as died. He then straigtens his father's shirt then kisses him. I tear-up thinking about it.
The helicopter takes-off Romano's arm.
9)The helicopter lands on Romano.
10)Carol goes to be with Doug.
11)Carol's babies are born.
12)Susan delivers her neice.
I could go on and on. It's a shame it's gone to hell like it has
That's a different kid playing Alex, right? I was really confused.
The show's been getting progressively worse for a few seasons now, but I still watched it simply for the Noah Wyle factor. I miss the Carter/Abby storyline, and now that Noah's gone, well, boo. It's getting FAR too melodramatic, too.

I thought it got boring years ago - when they put Becca from Life Goes on in the Show...I kept waiting for Corky!
When the burning helicopter fell on Paul McCrane and then the following episode all the characters didn't care and didn't want to go to his funeral. So unrealistic...I felt like the producers were trying to get a message out to Mr. McCrane rather than fashion a plausible story line.
When Sally Field had a cameo on the show she remarked it was the most unfriendly, unpleasant experience she'd ever had on a set.

I had stopped watching it regularly a while ago, started up when Carter was with Kem, and then when they had the baby die and she left it made me so mad that I stopped watching for good. Or so I thought. I watched the last couple of episodes last season to see Carter leave, and was actually really impressed with the porch falling--good acting, good effects. So, I decided to give this season a try, especially since I loved Kristen Johnson on Third Rock. Nope. Really no desire to see it again.
Unrealistic? N O B O D Y liked Romano. It would be unrealistic if they all suddenly started beating their chests with grief and falling over themselves to get to his memorial service.
Yeah, but I mean...it's death. Shouldn't they at least be...shocked?
I'm sure it is hard for them to be shocked since a burning helicopter falls on someone nearly every week.
(I stopped watching the show years ago, not that I liked it much even then. I can't take every week being "the most dramatic/traumatic ____ EVER!")
