I'm looking for any possible way to get the sheet music (or even karaoke.. but i doubt they have it) for the musical BARE. It's a very obscure musical and I'm absolutely in love with it. I'd REALLY love to sing the song "(Look at Me) I'm All Grown Up" for an audition, but I heard the sheet music will never be out. Does anyone happen to know where I could get it?

The only thing I can think of is write to the composer. They will sometimes give it to you. I mean, they want their stuff performed.

try emailing broadwayscores@yahoo.com and tell him you're from BWW. he posted a while ago and REALLY REALLY helped me out with finding some music.
best of luck, munk!
Ooooh if you find it PLEASE tell me (myspace message me haha) I've been looking for that for a while now

Lise, I really wasn't lying to you. I'm sure you can't get it. You can try writing to Damon, but I don't think he'll send it. I don't think I've heard of anyone else getting it before.
i know ya werent lyin! i just want to be 10000% postitive. it's pretty much perfect.
Yeah my best friend for my birthday did everything he possibly could to fine me this sheetmusic...and this kid can get ANYTHING...and he could not get this. I do believe he even wrote the composers and they said no. But good luck and do share with us if you get it and how!

I'm going to try to get my piano major friends to write it out for me.... I think that is probably the only way we are going to get it.... Someone on DareToSing posted the accompaniment a long time ago... and I think he just figured it out...

If you get really desperate you could pay a piano major at your school to transcribe it for you.
Edit - Theaterdiva beat me to it! Haha.

You might have better luck with a comp. major, or a theory nerd like myself.

my friend's girlfriend goes to school in NYC and was able to get music from BARE for some of my classmates. I know my roommate has the music to "Role of a Lifetime", "Are You There", and "Quiet Night at Home".....
i attended a theater program a few summers ago in newyork that jason robert brown went to as a kid....the connections at that place are ridiculous. One of my good friends from there is on speaking terms with the original cast of BARE. I'm sure i could get you the sheet music if you still need it.
let me know :)
thanks to everyone who tried helping.
i found the music to the 2 women's songs i wanted... thanks anyway!
Ryan,
I am 98% sure i can get it for you. I met some of the cast from the orginal show because of a theater camp i went to.
email me at ashnewman@gmail.com and i'll see what i can do for you
:)
Theres some certain music I have been dying to get my hands on from "Broadway Bound - New Writers for Musical Theatre" as well as "Unsung Musicals".....
I'm not even sure where to begin looking for that sort of music.
I actually found the score through one of the bare groups on myspace. Someone uploaded it onto megauploads.com. Unfortunately, not all of the songs have full piano accompaniment, but it's better than nothing. (And actually ROAL has piano accompaniment) PM me for the link.
