One of favorite cartoon characters ever! I'm assuming Murphy will be voicing him in one of those CGI rendered versions (Alvin, Garfield, Yogi, etc.

Anyway, I was just on AICN and the second headline was "Eddie Murphy is Hong Kong Phooey!!"

When I clicked to read I got the following page:

AICN vets their news stories very carefully (which is why they rarely scoop anything) so I'm betting that it's probably a done deal but wasn't supposed to be made public yet.

This actually sounds wonderful. I'm not a fan of them bringing all of this old stuff back but I think Eddie Murphy is hilarious.
