re: Elisabeth in Berlin - Cast?

first of all WRONG board, to get the max effect you should have posted on the West End Board,

HOWEVER....we saw it Saturday in Berlin, and it was simply amazing.

"Pia and Uwe (Again!)"

Thank God for that, as I have been told she is the best Elisabeth ever, and both were wonderful....I repeat WONDERFUL.
As both originated the roles in Vienna in 1992 (along with Luigi) I am thrilled they are still as good 16 years later

rest of cast:

Bruno Grassini as Luigi Lucheni, and he was spectacular
Markus Pol as Kaiser Franz Joseph
Christa Wettstein as Erzherzogin Sophie (She had her role down to a science, amazing....loved her)
Norbert Lama as Herzog Max in Bayern
Maike Katrin Schmidt as Herzogin Ludovika
Oliver Arno as Crown Prince Rudolf (very good)

and you could have found all od this in seconds by just typing in Google "Elisabeth, the musical" or "theater des westens"

(obviously there are other cast members, but I am not going to list all of them, above are the main ones)
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956
