Emerson Musical Theater Audition

I NEED HELP! My audition for Emerson is about a month and a half away and I still don't have an uptempo and a contemporary monologue! I want to use things there are not overused but appropriate for a 17 year old. Does anybody have specific ideas or general ideas of where I can look for help?!

do you know ANY monologues right now?

at this point, if you know ANY -- use them. a month and a half is really not enough time to prepare for a college audition, so i would recommend using a monologue you've already prepared. and if you don't have any prepared, stop worrying about whether it's overdone. obviously you don't want to do the "on my own" of monologues, but at this point, you really just need to get one down and not worry as much about whether or not it's too overdone.

the same goes with the uptempo.
