Eric Bana as the next James Bond?

Does anyone else think it is the most marvellous idea?
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I've always wanted Hugh Jackman - but I'm afraid now that suggestion is not taken very seriously - at least on these boards.

He was in contention for it though, along with Jude Law (maybe) and Orlando Bloom (NO!). Eric Bana originally denied he had been offered the role, but it's reported today that he has been and is mulling it over. I really think he'd be great.

Eric seems a bit serious to me - Bond has really worked well with that mischievous twinkle, hence my preference for Hugh.

I dunno, he did look like he was suppressing a laugh all the way through Troy.

That I would believe - but I couldn't supress mine long enough to buy a ticket for it, so I really don't know.

DG - I'm with you on Hugh Jackman.
Popular or not...

Now, if we can get Hugh as Bond and this whole spanking theme together in one place, I may just redefine 'swooning'!

That's not even a particularly flattering picture.

papa - any movie where people comment on a scene where he whips his c*ck onto a bar (however fake it might be) is worth checking into.

re: eric bana as the next james bond?

there's that too. i thought he was just a loon after seeing chopper, but then i fell in love with his work as sgt. "hoot" gibson the d-boy in "blackhawk down." i went to the hulk just to see what he did with it. woulda been interesting to see what he coulda done with a decent script.

I think that's a great idea, actually. Remember to the OUTSIDE WORLD, he's "Wolverine", not "that broadway guy..."

But he's too sexy to be Batman.
