Hey, Cyndy! My set performance days are Monday through Friday. I'll be playing the Hag at most performances, but two days a week I'll be sort of a switch-hitter, and I'll get to play the Hag at one show and the Queen at one show. (I don't remember which days those are off the top of my head...when I go back to rehearsal tomorrow I'll be sure to write it down.)
Be sure to let me know when you're coming, and I'll set it up so you can say hi after the show! =)

Posted: 5/28/06 at 6:18pmI don't really know what you mean. I did the show back in '04/'05. It was fun. Apparently there's still some talk about the producers (from whom the Geffen got the rights to do the show) wanting to tour the show, but I doubt they'll be keeping any of the Geffen cast for that. I'm not even sure they'll be doing the revised version we did. In fact, I'm pretty sure they'll start from scratch. But that's just a feeling. I know absolutely nothing.

Posted: 5/28/06 at 6:31pmThat's what I was wondering. I know of some Broadway producers who were looking at the property and haven't heard anything about it moving forward.

Why, thank you! *blush* Actually, there was some talk when I started back in '04 about possibly training me in the Snow White track, but it never went anywhere, and I'm perfectly happy in my non-singing, meanie-pants role.
As for my band's music, it is really our own genre...hard to describe. You can go to our site and check it out. www.velvetchain.com Or go to our MySpace page...that's probably even an easier way to get a quick overview of our stuff. As for my work as a vocalist apart from Velvet Chain, I obviously do a lot of musical theater, but my real forte is jazz. Particularly jazz standards from the golden age of Porter and Gershwin...but really all jazz is good with me. =)

Hi, Glebby! Speaking of jazz, I don't know if I mentioned I recorded an album of jazz standards for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary (this summer), and it came out rather well, so now I'm thinking of making it available to the public...
I'll let you know if and when I do!
(Hmmmmmmm...now that I've changed my avatar, most of this thread makes absolutely no sense. hehehe)
