I always like this episode.
Stage Manager: Miss Merman, you're on.
Ethel: How'm I doin'?
Is it "Pass the Potatoes, Ethel Merman"? Or the other one?
Ethel was on 2 episodes of That Girl.

"Ethel was on 2 episodes of That Girl."
Wow, I didn't remember 2. The one I remember was when That Girl was backstage with Merman during Annie Get Your Gun.

I have only seen the one where she cooks dinner for Ann & Don and Lou and all the neighbors come over to hear her sing.
If we had a decent Gay TV Network they be getting ready for January 16th and show ALL of Ethel's TV guest-starring roles! Lola Lasagne in Batman (3X), 5 roles on Love Boat, The Muppet Show, Match Game, Hollywood squares- all those variety specials! I'd take the day off and watch watch watch.
Pass The Potatoes Ethel Merman (Season 2, Episode 1): Ann is working with Broadway legend Ethel Merman and gets a walk-on part inher revival of "Gypsy."
The Other Woman (Season 2, Episode 21): Ann's father escorts Ethel Merman as a favor and they get written up as a couple in the media.
Double post.
TRIPLE post!

Why did I think it was Annie Get Your Gun? I thought there was a scene in the dressing room where Merman was wearing an Indian outfit.

Something I never saw before. I was reading posts on imdb and someone mentioned it.
When Marlo Thomas waves at the mannequin in the store window, you can see the kite rising on the left hand side of the store window. Was that kite, which she later flies, intended to be part of the store display window?
