My boyfriend and I planned to spend New Year's Eve in NYC seeing a matinee of BUTLEY and an evening performance of EVIL DEAD. Unfortunately he has taken ill and seems to have the strange flu that's going around and keeps people bed-ridden for a week to ten days. Obviously he won't be able to attend but insists that I go in and enjoy myself. That means I have an extra ticket for each show.
I'm not asking to be reimbursed for this. Just send me a PM of you'd like to join me for one or both shows.
You're one of the good ones, Dollypop. You're one of the good ones.

Bump
If I could, I would, Dolly. (Not sure if you'd agree to me, anyhow.) That's a generous gesture on your part. Have fun at both shows (with whomever you end up going) and I hope your BF feels better.
How irresistable! Especially since we have such a loving
rapport and history. What fun we'll have! You could be Butley and I could be Evil Dead! Then off to the dropping ball to ring in the new year with a BANG!
Then we could enjoy basil dipped tomatoes and mussels at an upscale restaurant.
Oh...wait...sorry I'm not allowed to date anymore.
But I'm sure someone as wonderful as you will enjoy a lovely evening regardless.

PB ENT. continues to underwhelm me with her attempts at warmth and wit. Oh well, what do you expect from the woman who was the inspiration for Shakespeare when he wrote Lady MacBeth?
Nice offer Dolly
Have plans for New Years. Hope your boyfriend gets over it quickly & Happy New Year

Unfortunately, this strain of the flu seems to take at least a week to recover from.
Thanks for the good wishes, though.
::A bump for Dolly.::
If you haven't found someone by now, you might visit "the Corner". I know Corine is a great theater fan.
Wow! You really think I would have inspired Shakespeare. Bet he wouldn't offer you basil tomatoes with mussels over linguni. I'd even throw in a good bottle of red wine.
I hope your special friend feels better. It's a very generous offer and I hope you have a nice time. Happy New Year!

Sorry to hear your boyfriend is sick. Why not stay home and take care of him? Some chicken soup and TLC might make him feel better.

I'm leaving for the city in a few minutes. Anyone who would like to take the extra tickets off my hands, meet me at BUTLEY's stage door at 1:45 PM.
Happy New Year everyone!
