FANTASTIC Madonna Oscar Story! — Page 2

Thanks, Anth. I am doing a paper on Madonna's films and I knew if I pushed the right button you would save me a lot of time researching it myself! (Pats self on hunchback)

Voice - I am impressed! You know 'yer stuff.

Now everyone sing: "Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free-ee..."!

I don't know of anyone who actually considers A League of Their Own to be "A Madonnna Movie". It was a Penny Marshall movie starring Geena Davis. Madonna had a small role in it.

Personally, I think Madona's best film work was in Desperately Seeking Susan.

On the other hand, there's Shanghai Surprise, Who's That Girl, and that crappy thing with Willem Dafoe and the candle wax.

And her "performance" in Die Another Day was one of the worst things in an awful movie. The other worst thing was the theme song, which Elton John dubbed "the worst Bond theme ever".
