FIREFOX 3.0 (shortcuts??)

FIREFOX 3.0.1
Why can't you download "DeskCut" anymore? Is there any way to create shortcuts?? I've tried downloading from the "Add-ons" to no avail.
This is so frustrating, since the rest of the browser is great.
Anyone?
