Wow, this looks like it's going to be great! I'm liking this whole blur between animation and live-action.

From an art direction perspective it does look interesting. I hope dramatically it holds up.

Man, I was hoping to see a picture of Michael Sheen as the Cheshire Cat. Or is he actually going to be animated? Curious...

I'm yawning, but not because of the thread. I must say, however, that that is one mother of a big rabbit hole. It looks like a well. It didn't take much imagination to come up with that one. Hows 'bout a littler rabbit hole with an enchanting looking entrance that Alice accidently and magically falls in to ?
Do some research Mr. Burton. There's a whole cult of American artists who design fairy worlds in the woods, little faerie houses, cottages, gardens, etc. for unsuspecting passers by to "discover". These people have done a lot more interesting sh!t than this chasm of a rabbit hole.
Rabbits should write their congressmen today in protest!
Svankmeijer's ALICE is still the definitive film word on AIW.
I'm sure in the end it will look like every other Tim Burton movie. Afterall, we're already on our way there with a few cast members...
did you see the rabbit embroidery on her skirt....
I'm with you, KrissySim. Nobody likes a big hole.
