I'm yawning, but not because of the thread. I must say, however, that that is one mother of a big rabbit hole. It looks like a well. It didn't take much imagination to come up with that one. Hows 'bout a littler rabbit hole with an enchanting looking entrance that Alice accidently and magically falls in to ?
Do some research Mr. Burton. There's a whole cult of American artists who design fairy worlds in the woods, little faerie houses, cottages, gardens, etc. for unsuspecting passers by to "discover". These people have done a lot more interesting sh!t than this chasm of a rabbit hole.
Rabbits should write their congressmen today in protest!
Svankmeijer's ALICE is still the definitive film word on AIW.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
