I'm thrilled at this news, but I don't get this DirecTV special programming thing that's going on. I know they're desperate for customers since there is practically no discernible reason for subscribing to satellite service any more. The pricing and service is laughable when compared to the major cable companies now. Ten years ago, satellite had an attractive edge in technology, but it will be going the way of Laser Disc soon and I'm sorry to see Friday Night Lights being prematurely sold off into the cemetery of doomed series being exhumed on DirecTV.

This makes me happy as well. One of my favorite shows. I love Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler. The show is so realistic about small town high school football in the south.
