Okay, I'm desperate- has anyone else read Bill Willingham's Fables? This is an amazing series that appears to have the world's worst quality-to-fan base ratio.

I read the first year and a half of it but then dropped it. I really liked it for the first bit (the first story and Animal Farm) but I fell behind on my comics reading and it got lost in the shuffle when I was trying to catch up.

Well, that's one more response than I expected. :P But that's what happens when you're trying to pimp a comic instead of a TV show or movie. The latest arc has been kind of a letdown for me, but it looks like Bigby's going to be back in the mix soon, which can only be a good thing.

Did he reveal The Adversary yet? I know it's in the upcoming story mix, or so I read in an interview.

Well, the March of the Wooden Soldiers arc made it pretty clear at least what story the Adversary comes from. I'm pretty sure I know who (s)he is, but I have heard one other plausible theory. In any case, the next issue is supposed to reveal it once and for all. Between that and the other subplot that just got started, I'm really looking forward to it.
