Posted: 9/24/08 at 12:59amThere are all kinds of programming errors in facebook now that seem to change daily, such as the one you described. Normally, I'm not one of those people who freaks out when facebook changes their format or adds new features. These things are just progress and are usually for the better, even if they take some getting used to. But it's really irritating that they forced this "New Facebook" on us when there were still so many glaring functional errors in it. They really should have left the old one as an option until they'd fixed some of these things.
"I just want a story and a few good songs that will take me away. I just want to be entertained. I mean, isn't that the point?"

Posted: 9/24/08 at 1:14amRaspberry, I'm not freaked at the layout, actually I'm pretty new to it, but the scrolling problem seems separate. I'm no tekkie, so I'll wait until it fixes itself, hopefully. Thanks for the info.

Posted: 9/24/08 at 11:31amapparently there is a way to keep the old format through Firefox, and groups on Facebook telling you how. i have not tried it as of yet because i primarily access from work, and it's up in the air whether IT will let us download Firefox. But that's an option if anyone is interested. Might take some careful searching on Facebook (and their search function is not the best, admittedly) but it's out there, like on X-FILES. If worse comes to worse, PM me, and i'll see if i can friend you and send you the group link. i joined it myself just in case.
