Boobs, I was working. It was a long and lonely night at the Gaiety.

Yeah, my best trick looked just like Ethel Merman.

re: famous posters

I've heard that Richard Goldstein, Tony Kushner and Michael Musto all post here. The odd thing is, I've heard they post under the same name. Does anyone know anything about this?

Whatever happened to Paul Wontorek?

re: famous posters

I know of a couple of people who *do* post here....

It's up to them to reveal themselves though; that's not my place.

I am me. Some people on her know who I am though I really am not anyone special or famous. I just enjoy the board and even if famous or broadway insiders come here and post I am getting the benefit of their knowledge even if I don't know who they are. I would hope everyone who posts on this board regularly would not change their appreciation of other board members based on their being famous.

re: famous posters

"Famous" people are people. If they choose to post here, they should be treated like everyone else here. We're all equals in life.

re: famous posters

You know, way back when I joined bww, I knew next to nothing about broadway and I had no idea who Marc Shaiman was. *dodges flying projectiles*

I think most of the higher-up actors are too busy/don't care and wouldn't read an online chat board, but who knows?

re: famous posters

I think Marisa Janet Winokur once said that most actors do read the boards, no matter what they say to the contrary. And I know John Hill recently referred to them.

But you know what? If famous people are posting here (and they probably are), let them stay masked. Anonymity is part of the privelege of posting here. If famous people choose to post under their own names, more power to them. But maybe it's nice to have a conversation about theater without being TONY KUSHNER or whoever once in a while.

re: famous posters

How would Ms. Winokur know that *most* actors read the boards? Most actors she knows, perhaps. That's a presumptuous statement for her to make.

David Gest definitely posts here.

re: famous posters

Oh, I agree about letting them be. If they want to make themselves known I'm sure they will... it's a good thing boards are anonymous. (Adam Pascal would have quite a few restraining orders to file if he knew...)

re: famous posters

David Gest was sitting next to me at the Gaiety last night. He kept borrowing dollar bills from me and from the fat guy with the khaki shorts and knee socks in the row behind us.

When he first sidled up next to me, I only saw his eyebrows and thought it was Scott Nevins, but then I realized it was indeed Mr. Minnelli.

I was going to shake his hand but decided instead to just beat the **** out of him instead. I figured he was missing that treatment and would welcome a little ass-whooping since he left Liza.

re: famous posters

In his weblog, I'm pretty sure John Hill referred to negative message board posts about him. He's since deleted the entry, which was actually very depressing and different from the rest, which are usually surrealistically funny.

Getting back to Jeff Stryker... (waaaay back)

Does Ryan Idol wear lifts in his shoes? Did Joey Stefano like Chinese take-out between Gaiety shows? Have they found interesting new uses for botox yet, in your industry?
