I have a play opening Thursday, and I am 100% low energy about the entire thing (and several other things). I'm overwhelmed with homework & college apps, and am being pulled in too many directions at once. It is very important (of course!) that I get some energy quickly. Does anyone have any hints for getting more energy/dealing with low energy? Thanks.

Whenever I drink Naked (the drink, that is) I feel really energized. And they're delicious! http://www.nakedjuice.com/main.php

Short of pharmaceuticals, the best way to deal with fatigue is to get some sleep.

I know that sounds basic, but sometimes you've got to put everything on the back burner and sleep.

Get some zzzzs.

OMG I'm in a very similar predicament right now so I totes concur.

I've learned though that there are so many times in the school day where you're just doing nothing and you don't even realize it. You just need to learn to fill those spaces. Like I get most of my sleeping and homework done during rehearsal when I'm offstage and during lunch.

And I find energy drinks make me feel worse because I crash later, just try and eat enough and drink enough water and if you really need it coffee is a lot less invasive and gross than an energy drink, but it does really dry out your voice.

I did some yoga & meditation before the show tonight & it helped me to focus & energize. Thanks for the suggestions!
