This post is probably going to go south really fast but I thought I'd try anyway. I was just wondering what some of your favorite Christmas memories are. Whether that be with friends, families, or even at a Broadway show please share it.

My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

Christmas Tree.
Christmas music playing.
Electric train set.
Family waking up and opening gifts.
Christmas breakfast.
Family relatives gathering for Christmas dinner.
Mushy but true. :)

Our family tradition was that Santa brought all of Christmas on Christmas Eve. So, after midnight mass, all children who still believed in Santa went to bed, and then everyone else brought in and decorated the tree, wrapped presents, drank egg nog, listened to and sang carols - a complete holiday festival all at once. And then, of course, the magic of watching the kids respond to the utter transformation of the house in one night.

My mother and her friends (my "aunts") would get together for a cookie and candy making marathon session in December, and I so looked forward to bundling all up and trudging the half mile through the snow to the Rectory, where I would ring the doorbell and present the eldest of the Nuns, who taught at my school, with a plate of warm cookies and freshly made fudge (Mexican - with a spicy sort of burnt caramal flavor and nuts, and my favorite - Peanut Butter!)I can still remember the dark early winter sky, the snow covered ground and smoke rising from the chimneys as I inhaled the scent of the pine trees on that long (for me) walk..and I loved the look on her face when she took the seran covered plate from me...Those nuns were angels in my life....they still are.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I don't have one specific memory...I just loved the big parties my grandmother would throw on Christmas Eve and my WHOLE family wouild be there. Good times!!

Now, my LEAST favorite memory? my grandmother dying on Christmas Morning. Yeah, that sucked. Sorry to be a downer, it's just that this time of year is still hard for me, even though it's been three years re: Favorite Christmas memory
