I used to think Disney songs were too "kiddy" for my tastes, but now I'm downloading a lot of them on my computer. I love Reflection from Mulan and Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas in particular.
What are your favorite Disney songs?
God Help the Outcasts, I Won't Say I'm In Love...
Currently, anything from Beauty and the Beast. I memorized the songs when I was tiny, but now I'm going back and discovering just how clever a lot of the lyrics are.
Reflections- Mulan
I'll Make a Man out of You- Mulan
Razzle Dazzle Day -Pete's Dragon
I won't say I'm in Love- Hercules
Go the Distance- Hercules
Part of your world- Little Mermaid
Strangers like Me- Tarzan
You'll be in my heart- Tarzan
Out There- Hunchback
So many from Lion King and Aladdin
I love Disney songs, there are too many to name though!

I'm not a fan of the stage version, but Beauty and the Beast is one one of my all-time favorite movies ... so I'd have to say anything from that.

Who put the glad in gladiator? Hercules!
When I was younger, my best friend had a CD called "The Best of Country Sings the Best of Disney". We wore that thing OUT!

Elphaba, Anastasia is not Disney. But if it is to be included on this list, I am adding Journey to the Past, Once Upon a December, At the Beginning.
I have this thing with God Help The Outcast. It is so pretty, and I sang it for numerous auditions.
You know, I think that we theatre lovers should really thank Disney for those movies. They're the ones who taught us it's okay for people to break into song to express their feelings no matter what the time or place. They also taught us the art of a good choreographed number. Yes, I owe a lot to those classic Disney movies.

Though being in a godawful Disney revue show that ruined most Disney songs forever for me I still love Tale as Old as Time and God Help the Outcasts
I don't know if this counts--
Can I add Breaking Free from High School Musical to my list?

Part of Your World
I WOn't Say I'm in Love

Wow I just think that Disney has had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented men on the planet. I mean Alan Menken, Tim Rice, Steven Schwartz? Well they have all contributed immensely. Here are some of my favorites...

One Jump Ahead-Aladdin
A Whole New World-Aladdin
Colors of the Wind-Pocahontas
Just Around the Riverbend-Pocahontas
Zero to Hero-Hercules
Prince Ali - Aladdin
Savages - Pocahontas
And I love the instrumental music when Simba returns home...through the desert.

I've had a special love for "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" ever since I was maybe seven or eight, and my ballet class performed a dance to that song. Silly, I know, but - we wore little lion manes and tails! And had face paint! How can I not look back upon that with fondness?
