Since Glebb had pillaged "Trick" and Addy has purloined "A Place In The Sun" -- I am at a loss. However, I am predicting that my new favorite kiss will be between Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain. I've read that Jake said that his nose was almost broken by the mighty Heathcliff. (...pause while AndyHardy takes a breath)

Let's not forget Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman in Hitchcock's "Notorious." They don't come much steamier (in a discrete sort of way). Well, it was 1946, after all.

Here's some more that I liked:

- In 13 Going on 30, when Jenna and her "friend" (played by Marc Ruffalo, forgot his name) fall off the swings and he kisses her.

- Again, at the end of the Princess Diaries when her foot popped on all the lights in the garden, and the fountain went on.

- The one between Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman in Kate & Leopold. I don't remember it vividly, but if it did exist, it was good, because it's Hugh Jackman!

I LOVE that scene in 13 GOING ON 30 when they finally kiss in the playground - it's so hot and romantic!!!

I don't have ONE favorite, but some of my favorites are:

TITANIC - Rose and Jack, any one of the kisses
A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD - Bobby and Jonathan
THE HOURS - Toni Collette and Julianne Moore
CABARET - 3 way kiss
THE DREAMERS - ALL OF THEM

1. Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster, on the beach in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY. It's not a classic for nothing.
2. Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne, both at the door and in the cemetary, THE QUIET MAN. Now THOSE are passionate kisses!
3. Emma Thompson and Kenneth Brangah, both at the end of DEAD AGAIN and at the end of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
4. Helen Mirren and Kyra Sedgwick, LOSING CHASE.
5. Paul Newman and Charlotte Rampling, THE VERDICT.
6. Maggie Smith and Robert Stephens, THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE.
7. Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson, NELL.
