Posted: 9/11/04 at 10:49amGlebb - I agree - it's my favorite kind of movie - I even like most of the bad ones - as Robin William's character said in The Fisher King, "There's nothing trashy about romance." I just listed some of the ones that I can and do really watch over and over.

Posted: 9/11/04 at 1:37pmIt's more of a farce than a "romantic comedy", but SOME LIKE IT HOT has what I consider either "the funniest love scene" or "the sexiest comedy scene" ever. Tony Curtis, doing his Cary Grant impression, has a rendezvous with Marilyn Monroe on the old millionaire's yacht. He claims he's impotent, and Marilyn tries to cure him!

Center stage is the best cliched movie ever!
"I BROKE MY LEG!!! I can't perform!" HAHAHAHAHA! yet, I've seen it maybe 100 times. Gotta love your good but bad movies.

Him and Meg Ryan... 
I think they only did three movies together: Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, and Joe Versus the Volcano. I haven't seen the Volcano one...I heard it was not that good but is it good if you are in the mood for a romantic comedy?
