Though it isn't her first entrance, Norma Desmond descending the staircase in SUNSET BOULEVARD is pretty dang memorable!

I was going to say Dorothy Michaels in Tootsie, too! I love when she emerges through the crowds in that street shot. And Julie in The Sound of Music is a given.

- When we finally see the shark in JAWS
– The glorious debut of "color" in The Wizard of Oz
– Loretta's makeover in Moonstruck
– Ann Margret's flirty Kim singing the opening number in Bye Bye Birdie
– Tony (John Travolta) strutting down the street in Saturday Night Fever
– Clarence in It's a Wonderful Life
– Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
