My personal favorites are, in no particulat order:
FOTR: "I made a promise, Mr. Frodo. A promise! 'Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee.' And I don't mean to. I don't mean to."
ROTK: Pretty much the entire last half hour, but especially "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" and the end.
"Harold and Maude": The scene at the dock: "'Harold loves Maude.' And Maude loves Harold." Then Maude throws the message into the water: "So I'll always know where it is."
"The Sixth Sense": The car scene between Cole and his mother. Possibly my all-time favorite scene.
"Finding Neverland": "*That* is Neverland."
"Good Will Hunting": The scene between Skylar and Will in her room ("Tell me you don't love me.")
"The Wizard of Oz": Judy Garland singing "Over The Rainbow" and Dorothy's goodbyes to everyone at the end ("Scarecrow...I think I'll miss you most of all.")
"Finding Nemo": Dory's desperate speech to Marlin ("I look at you and I'm...I'm home.")
"Beauty and the Beast": The ballrom scene.
"The Birdcage": I really can't pick a favorite. It's full of great moments: "One *does* want a hint of color"; the Las Copa cemetary scene; "I don't wear shoes because they make me fall down"; "Lady, not for a million bucks" and SO many more...
"Dogma": The scene between Bethany and the Metatron after Bethany realizes what being the last scion means.
"Team America": The puppet sex scene. I have never laughed harder at anything...
"A Christmas Story": Lots, but all of Ralphie's fantasies and the moment he unwraps the BB gun are at the top.
"It's A Wonderful Life": "Now you listen to me! I don't want any plastics, and I don't want any ground floors, and I don't want to get married--ever--to anyone! You understand that? I wanna do what *I* wanna do. And you're...and you're..."
One of my favorite movie moments of all time:
Pretty Woman, when Julia Roberts...
"Mistake. Big Mistake. HUGE!."
Not a 'great' movie moment, but one of my personal favorites, among many.
In "Before Sunset" when Julie Delpy sings her waltz to Ethan Hawke. That scene sends me.
In Drop Dead Gorgeous when Amber dances on stage is my all time favorite moment from a movie.
