Remember Sally Struthers on television in the 1980s trying to get you to send money to feed hungry kids around the world? Sally got fatter and fatter as the kids got skinnier and skinnier. Wonder why? The cause is worthy. I wrote "Feed The Children" to help Shania Twain in her efforts to raise money for Second Harvet Food Bank and Kids Cafe. >http://www.jimcolyer.com

FEED THE CHILDREN

Feed The Children, we know how
Mothers and fathers, Feed The Children now
Feed The Children of planet Earth
We've got to feed them, we gave them birth

We don't need heavy industry
To learn how to milk a cow
All we need is to plant some seeds
Put our hands to the plow

Feed The Children, right away
They've got to eat 3 meals a day
Feed The Children from the time they're born
Smiling faces will be our reward

We hear them crying
There's no denying
We need the children
They feel their hunger
So while they're younger
Feed The Children

Meat, potatos and vegetables
Set the table, bake the bread
Come on people, feed the kid

It takes time to produce the food
People have to work the land
Let's help the developing nations
End the starvation of man

Yeah, I think Ellie was being funny, but seriously, Sally is one of the sweetest people I have ever known, plus she is one of the comedic geniuses of our time. Let's stay away from personal attacks.
