I have a question about this movie. I know Ferris is Sloane's boyfriend (sp?), but was a secret little crush implied between Sloane and Cameron? For example, there were a couple of scenes when Cameron and Sloane were holding hands. One was during the parade - I understand it was busy, so that may have been part of the reason. And another was really for no reason (I think it was when they were waiting for the car). There were a couple of other minor implications, but I might be looking too far into it. Any comments? Just curious.

This is the hardest I've ever heard of anyone thinking about that movie.
Although you're probably right
You make a good point, Millie. There was a point were Cameron admitted he looked at Sloan changing. That solidified it for me.
Although he coulda just been trying to sneak a peek... Hell we all know thats what he was doin.

I think there is nothing but friendship. I mean, they probably spent their whole lives together so it more than likely wouldn't be "weird" to hold hands. Also, Cameron had never had a girlfriend (and more than likely girls didn't talk to him) so Sloane was that bridge/gap into the female world for him.
Ok, WOAH. I got kind of smart there. YAY for no sleep.
Just wondering, because there were some scenes were she gave that smile to him. I am a new fan of the movie, and not having seen it many times before, I didn't know if Sloane was going to have a change of heart.
BTW, the guy who played the principal might make a good Edna...kind of reminds me of Michael McKean (I think it's the hair).
He was arrested for Child Pornography about a year ago (the guy that played the principal)
Yea he's kinda busy right now. Child Porn charges can occupy your time. Just ask R. Kelly and Pee Wee Herman.

Was he really? He was brilliant as the Emperor in Amadaeus.
Yes he was and then he broke his parole by trying to flee the state or something like that so he is in trouble again.
Side note--He was also the bad guy in HOWARD THE DUCK
Jeffrey Jones-brilliant character actor.
Hmmm...didn't know that.
Since you said you are new to Ferris Buellers Day Off, you should pick up
Breakfast Club (my all time favorite movie)
Sixteen Candles
and
Pretty in Pink.
All written and directed by John Hughes. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT movies.
Also, HEATHERS is a great dark comedy (Not John Hughes but great none-the-less.
I am going to try to watch some of Bueller tonight, but I am doing a last minute one page Spanish essay on Selena, yes in Spanish.
