Fictional characters for President!

Saw a poll in a magazine which asked it's readers which fictional character they would like to see become US president.
Results were:
1. Homer Simpson
2. Josiah Bartlet
3. Frasier Crane
4. Sergeant Bilko
5. Gil Grissom

My vote would go to Samantha Stephens. What about you?

Frazier Crane would probably be my choice from the list.

Note it says "character" NOT "actor"

Freddy Krueger.

Oh, wait. We already have a president who has killed countless numbers of people and can't be stopped.

Self-hating homophobe. By which I mean, he can't handle his own homosexuality.

My mother writes in Jesse Jackson every election. He might as well be fictional in a presidential election.

The Democrats owe more to Jessie Jackson than they'd like to admit.

I always tell her she might as well not bother going. But she thinks it makes some big statement.

Jeb Bartlet!
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Jesse Jackson Junior is my congressman. I once thought he could be the first black president. Now I'm pretty sure it will be Barack Obama.
