Figure Skating!!!

Okay...so the Olympics are over and that thread has disappeard (not really, but still). So I thought Figure Skating needed a new thread...especially for the upcoming World Championships!

As most of you know, Evan has already withdrawn from the competition to be on "Dancing with the Stars". I really wish he would have finished the competitive season. DWTS will ALWAYS been there (at least for a few more years) and I'm sure that show would always take him, so I don't think that there should have been an immediate rush to get on the show and get rich after Olympic Glory.

Plushenko says he is going and it would have been nice to see the duel again...and to see if Plushenko changed his program.

At any rate, I thought that he might pull a "Bauil/Lipinski"...but we'll have to see. Also, for all those who like to throw Sarah Hughes into the mix...she might have withdrawn from the 2002 WC's, but at least she did comeback the next season...and probably did what her agents and others feared by not being as strong as she had been the previous year.
