Michelle Kwan is attending! So she's definately going to start this Olympic Season right and not wait until Nationals to compete for the first time. Sasha Cohen is going too and so is Bebe Liang. It's nice to know they haven't forgotten her!
Additional U.S. competitors are Tim Goebel, Evan Lysacek(the World Bronze Medalist!), Dennis Phan in the men's singles. We'll see if Tim is over his injuries that he's had for the past 2 years, most of which were boot problems if I remember right
Rene Inoue and John Baldwin, Katy Orscher and Garrett Lucash, and Marcy Hinzmann and Arron Parchem in pairs.
Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, Jamie Silverstein and Ryan O'Meara, Tiffany Stiegler and Sergei Magerovskiy in dance.

I have been a huge Kwan fan since 1994 and had the privilege of seeing her win her world championship in 2003. So glad she is doing the Grand Prix events this year- she needs it. I wish I could attend, but sadly, its not possible.
But are you sure this isn't a previous year's list? Jamie Silverstein is no longer skating and I am pretty sure a few of the other pairs listed are no longer together. However, I for one, would be happy if Jamie was back on the ice.

I think the USFSA is letting them have this chance because they top two ice dancing can't compete at the Olympics and because of their success at Worlds we have 3 spots! So, they must feel like this team could contend. I remember reading that there was a small chance that Tanith might be able to compete for the US at the games, let's hope so. I've always felt bad for Ben not getting to compete in 2002, because he did qualify and it would have been really special for him since it was here in the USA.
