Posted: 11/1/08 at 7:37pmAnybody else on the East Side hearing something resembling fireworks? Better, does anybody know what it is? At first I thought it was thunder, but now I'm just confused. I can't see anything out my window, which faces West.

Posted: 11/2/08 at 12:09amI was on the phone with my friend who lives in the same area. He stopped the conversation for a second because he thought he heard something and was trying to figure out what it was. He said that he thought it was just firecrackers.

Posted: 11/2/08 at 12:51ami was at the park this morning and a good portion of it was closed off because they said there was going to be a fireworks display tonight in celebration of the marathon.
