NYU is producing "Floyd Collins" in February!
Questions:
1. Is anyone on this board involved in the production?
2. Is anyone planning on going?
3. Is anyone an NYU student?
4. And if "Yes" to #3, can someone volunteer to buy me two tickets (as they're cheaper for NYU students). PM me

Posted: 2/6/08 at 1:20pmAlumni with plenty of friends in the cast. Planning on going. I'm already using my alumni tickets, though. Going to be fabulous -- I know Tommy Tune and Brian Stokes Mitchell are coming one night, and many others sporadically.

Posted: 2/7/08 at 3:58pmAm hoping to be in the city next week for this show. Have a couple of friends involved. I heard from one of them earlier today that most, if not all, of the performances are sold out.

I'm assistant Stage Managing this production, and the tickets are selling very fast, but from what i understand, they are not sold out yet...
Get your tickets fast.... call and order and if you can find an NYU student while you are there, they might be able to give you the discount.
Come see the show, every night has been an excellent and supremely moving experience, even for me, who stands backstage left and changes peoples costumes, and hands them props.
I can promise you that if you see this you will not regret it. COMPLETELY worth the money.

Posted: 2/18/08 at 1:55amSaw it Valentine's Day Night (thanks John!) and was super impressed. Excellent excellent work, ALL of you. Am so glad I went and so glad to have shared in that show again and so glad YOU all got to experience the show yourselves. It takes hold of you, doesn't it? (I'm asking out-loud anyone who's performed in it before). Y'all did some fine fine fine performances. And thumbs-up to that creative team (ie: sound and lighting design). Congratulations all. Beautiful and glorious.
