We got to talking about Rachael Ray on another thread which brings up the subject of the Food Channel. I don't know about anyone else but I'm a little tired of Emeril. He's on the Green Network now as well. Sandra Lee is a favorite mostly because of her kitchen schemes. I also like Alton Brown because he seems to know what he's talking about and he's amusing.

I may not know a lot about theater but I know that I love it.

Sandra Lee? Icing Entenmann's cookies? I cant believe she even has a show when she cant even cook!

If I ever watch her show, it's to make fun of her, like Whatever Martha does to Martha Stewart.

I like Alton. He mixes crazy with cooking.

I love Paula Deen y'all. Yeah her cooking will kill you, but it's good food.

I like some of Ina's recipes, but she annoys me. It's as if she has low self-esteem and she cooks to win approval. "Maybe if I cook Jeffrey's favorites, he'll love me." I could care less what Jeffrey likes.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I've got to admit Paula's recipes look the best. She certainly doesn't hold back on the good stuff.....butter and cream and mayonaise. Tyler Florence recipes look pretty decent.
O.K. so Sandra can't cook but she's clever and she can mix a good cocktail.

Yes. It aptly describes Sandra Lee and her pseudo cooking.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Gorious Food? How Sweeney Todd.

I like Alton Brown.

But my heart will always belong to the Two Fat Ladies!

Sandra Lee makes me want to scream. How that woman ever got a show is beyond me. Like someone else said, I don't need someone on television to tell me that I can put icing onto Entenmann's cookies.

I like Alton because he's informative and amusing at the same time. I also like Paula, despite the fact that I have maybe had her food three times total. I enjoy Rachael, because her meals are pretty quick and easy to make, and they're pretty good, too.

I definitely agree that Ina has no self-esteem and no personality at all. Her show is so "blah." I really think the only reason these "friends" of hers come to these parties she throws is because they want her to cook for them.

Alton Brown turned me on to brewing coffee with a FRENCH PRESS!
The best coffee you'll ever make in the house, provided you use freshly ground beans. This non techno item is simple, cheap and takes up no space. Enjoy your next cup 'o joe.

Yes the two fat ladies, how can I forget? I loved them and the kitchen they cooked in. I would give anything to see their show again.
