The top two photos are:
1. Christmas trees on Columbus Avenue waiting to be sold.
2. Lincoln Center across Broadway. Metropolitan Opera straight ahead, Avery Fisher Hall on the right (NY Philharmonic), and the New York State Theatre on the left (NY City Ballet and NY City Opera).

Central Park, looking from the lobby of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, towards 5th Avenue and the East side.
The Unisphere in the bottom left of the bottom picture stands in front of the Trump Building, and just outside Jean Georges, one of the better restaurants in Manhattan.
