Adopt one! There are many of us who don't have a father or grandfather around to honor and celebrate with . There are many men out there who don't have children or grandchildren to celebrate with today. Both my father and grandfathers are long gone so I am going to bake a batch of cookies for an elderly man in my apartment complex who has outlived his children. Making this day special for someone else can also be special for you. Happy Father's Day.

That sounds like a wonderful idea! I'm in that same situation, so I think I'll start doing something like that...after all, some of those fathers and grandfathers may not have anyone to celebrate with either!

Just so people don't think I'm "trying to get away with something," I fully intend to replace the standard issue gray jockstrap with a much more expensive black one.
