I'm really freaked out. I hear like baby crying outside and I once heard this horror story that a murder has tape recorded a baby crying and played it outside and people went to see what was happening and he killed them.
Yea. I'm scared. And the crying has been going on for 5+ minutes now.

I live in an apartment complex so I'm sure people have babies but I've never really heard them cry before, besides it's past 11:00.
It's still going on and now it sounds almost fake. Maybe I just think that because of the story I heard?

That's like what happened in that movie Urban Legend except with not a baby. I wouldn't go out just because I saw that movie.

You'd think someone else from the apartment complex would do something- ie: call the police.
Or...maybe they are thinking the same thing I am "Well, I'm sure SOMEONE else will, eventually"
It's not loud, but it's definitley audible.

I turned on my outside light as the person who lives below me walked outside. We said hi and within seconds, the crying stopped. I'm probably over thinking it.
It probably was just a baby crying but I don't know, that was a bit too freaky.
ikmbway- are you a camper? When I was, as soon as we got to camp, they checked ALL of our stuff to make sure we didn't have stuff we shouldn't have.
Have fun! Don't think about us here at BWW. It's boring
