Someone just untied my neighbor's boat and is stealing it. (They are in a boat and are towing it along.) They tried to take his other one too.
The more exciting part is that the owner of the boat and my other neighbor are in my other neighbor's boat chasing them.
I need to figure out which direction they are going, because one way leads to a dam where it's a dead end (ropes prevent them from going any further or crashing.)

That stinks, I hope they get their boat back.
I'm taking a shower- I'm seeing RENT tour at 2pm. Someone's been yelling and playing horrible loud music and it's making me crazy. The bass is so loud, my apartment is shaking.

Arrrgh. My internet magically stopped working yesterday. My computer said I had a wireless signal, but wasn't connected to the internet, and if I plugged in to the ethernet, it STILL didn't work. When I got home last night, the computer help center was already closed, so I went this morning. It should be noted that on Thursday night, outside my door, there was a sign about how if you have a wireless router in your dorm, you need to go online and fill out some sort of form to register it, so the authorities or whatever can keep tabs on the router and make sure you're doing it correctly, because apparently some people in the building aren't using theirs properly and it's causing people in the area to have trouble getting online.
I went to the computer help center this morning, and told them my internet wasn't working, that I had a router, etc. They asked if I filled out the approval form, and I said no, because my internet stopped working before I got the chance to do so. So she was like "oh, yeah, we took away your internet." Apparently they're punishing anyone who hasn't filled out this form and gotten approval yet, in order to force them to fill out the form and go through the approval process. So I took my router to the help center, and filled out the form. When I was done, the person told me that it's too bad I didn't come in yesterday, because they could have fixed it yesterday, but now since it's the weekend, all of the staff is gone and I have to wait.
I was told that I'll get an e-mail on Monday about setting up an appointment. At this appointment, I have to meet with someone on the staff to like, go over proper use of a wireless router and gain in-person approval. Then they'll hook my internet back up, probably on Monday or Tuesday, but on Wednesday at the latest.
This is such a pain in the ass. I'm waiting for a fairly important e-mail, too, so it would be nice to be able to check my mail from my dorm.

That sucks Emcee At the GW dorm, I had to buy the whole resnet thing, as wireless wasn't permitted in the dorms. It was really annoying, especially to hook up and stuff. At least hear in the polytech dorms we can just use the wireless.
Thanks to persistance, I got to go to a Rocky-horror like Buffy the musical screening last night (err, midnight much earlier today, whatever) Sooo much fun!
And I'm leaving shortly to watch the first national tour of the Original Company at the Lincoln Center library for my Sondheim class.

We're thinking about buying a beta fish.
We found some really hot vases at Pottery Barn that we want to use, because I hate the usual fishbowls. I think they're ugly.
I'll post pics of Viola (the fish) when we get it.
