To draw back on Friends, it reminds me of when there was a pigeon in the kitchen and Rachel had to trap it in a pot and throw it out the window.
That's the episode with Pheobe's husband! The one from Canada that she married so he could get a green card!
I'm having yummy leftover lasagna.
Edit: My friend who was going with me tonight is sick, so she can't go. Oh well, I'll just have to have fun without her.

Through the... window? I don't know, but where else would it come from? =P
Rogue, the gay ice dancer?

Actually, the straight ice dancer pretending he was gay because that's all his friends were gay. He came to get a divorce from Pheobe because he was getting married.
*is excited for tonight*

I love The One With Chandler in a Box, and Monica goes on her whole "Fine, judge all you want to, but.... married a lesbian, left a man at the altar, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl's wooden leg in a fire, livin' in a box!" thing. So I always call him a gay ice dancer anyway.

Posted: 9/25/06 at 12:50pmI lovethat episode. My favorite Friends episode of all time is "The One with the Football". Pure perfection.

Posted: 9/25/06 at 12:52pmMy favorite... I think it's just called The One on the Last Night; it's Rachel's last night in the apartment before Chandler moves in, and they're all trying to pack, but they get into a fight.

"And now you have to leave, and I have to live with a boy!"
(You're correct about the name.
)
Edit: I won't be able to go back online before I leave, so I just want to say that I hope that I see those who are going to Manoel's gig tonight and that we all have fun.

"through the window"
What Full House episode? Come on, it's one of my favorites!
God Friends has amazing Thanksgiving episodes. You both cited 2 as favs, but this Thanksgiving one is my favorite, featuring perhaps my favorite Friends quote of all time:
Monica: Mom! Dad! Ross smoked pot in college!
Mr. and Mrs. Geller: What?!
Ross: (in a 5 year old’s tone) (To Monica) You are such a tattletale! Mom, Dad, you remember that-that time you walked in my room and smelled marijuana?
Mr. and Mrs. Geller: Yes. (They look at Chandler angrily.)
Ross: Well I told you it was Chandler who was smoking the pot but it was me. I’m sorry.
Mrs. Geller: It was you?
Monica: And Dad, y’know that mailman that you got fired? He didn’t steal your Playboys! Ross did!
Ross: Yeah, well, Hurricane Gloria didn’t break the porch swing, Monica did!
Monica: Ross hasn’t worked at the museum for a year!
Ross: Monica and Chandler are living together!
Monica: Ross married Rachel in Vegas! And got divorced! Again!!!!
Phoebe: I love Jacques Cousteau!
Rachel: I wasn’t supposed to put beef in the trifle!
Joey: (pounding the table) I wanna gooooooo!
Mrs. Geller: That’s a lot of information to get in in thirty seconds!

I feel like I'm going to die.
I didn't even get 1 hour of sleep last night. I went to class 11:00-12:20, then I ate literally 1 bite of pizza, then I went to another prof who talked to me about having less anxiety (I really wanted to talk to her about my paper but she said I was worrying to much.) Then I went to the library and spent 4 hours there searching for books. Now I have to fix up my paper for tomorrow and print the one I need for class at 4-7. AHH!!!
Do I have time to take a quick shower?! It's so hot and humid!
91 degrees and 51% humidity. Yuck.

Posted: 9/25/06 at 3:33pmMy dad had to go to the hospital last week to get a bunch of tests done because he's been feeling really sick. Well, today he got called in to the doctor's for an emergency appointment at 11:30. I told my mom to call me and let me know what was going on, and they still haven't called. I'm a little worried.

My bus back to school last night was at 11:45pm. After waiting 25 minutes for the subway downtown, I ended up running to the gate at Port Authority and arrived (by their clock) at 11:45 exactly. I asked someone where the Syracuse bus was and they pointed to a line with one person in it. I asked that person if she was there for the 11:45 bus. She said "Oh, that bus left awhile ago. It was full, so they left early."
I freak out for a few minutes and run around trying to find an open information desk, but all of them are closed and the one desk that's supposed to be open doesn't have anyone there. I go back to the gate and find some other people in the same situation as me. One guy did find an open information desk on the opposite side of the terminal and said that the tickets would just transfer over, since it's the same route, but the next bus is at 1:15am. Obviously the chairs were all taken in the little waiting area nearby, so I had to sit on the floor of F*CKing Port Authority for the next hour and a half waiting. And the bus was then late, so technically it wasn't until 1:40am that I was able to actually get on the bus.
I couldn't sleep the entire ride for various reasons, mainly because I was just so uncomfortable, and the bus kept getting delayed/slowed down, so I ended up not getting back here until 7:15am. Then there weren't enough cabs, but the one cab driver said I could double-up with this other guy, because he was going nearby where I was. Actually, he was going PAST where I was, so we ended up driving through this residential neighborhood for 20 minutes and getting stuck behind a bus picking up high school kids every few blocks. Then he drove me to my building and I finally got back to my room at 7:40am.
I now have a sore throat, cough and no voice. I'm sure much of that has something to do with the horrible exahust fumes that permeate the air at Port Authority. I had 2 pitas last night at like 9pm but I haven't eaten anything since then. I definitely haven't gotten as much sleep as I need, because I still feel so disoriented and foggy, but every time I lay down, I start coughing.
So yeah. That was my night. I'd rather not sleep in the comfort of my own home than not sleep on the floor of Port Authority, but that's just me.
Wanting life but never knowing how

Wow Skittles, that's no fun. I hate Port Authority.
My mom just called and said that the results of my dad's previous tests were inconclusive, so he has to go back for more tests on Friday.
