I have a biology test tomorrow. I pretty much am gonna fail because I really don't know much.
I just spilled water on my keyboard.

I HATE when I put too much sauce on my pasta.
Dont pop the pimple unless its come to a head, and then do it carefully.
I love the weather so much right now. It reminds me of this time last year which I really miss.

I'd help if I was there, Em. I'm one of those people who pops other people's zits when they don't think that it's necessary to do so.

Charming, Mandi. :)

I don't feel that way right now, but I feel it often about a great variety of things. I hate that feeling so much. Nostalgia always makes me forget for a moment that things aren't as they were, and coming back to reality is a harsh, sad thing.

Mandi, Fools is a really, really funny play. You'll enjoy it for sure!
I'm procrastinating on my math homework. Meh.

Posted: 10/4/06 at 6:07pmOh, I almost forgot...my friend, thinking that he was absolutely hilarious, opened my flute case I was holding in my left hand at lunch. All of my equipment fell out onto the grass. He thought it was really funny; however, my two friends standing nearby who play flute and I thought he was being a total dipsh*t.

Let him know exactly how much a musical instrument costs and that you know where he lives. I'm sure he'll find it hysterical.
I have a paper, an advisor-approved thesis topic, a midterm, a shorter writing piece, another paper, and a first draft of my law school personal statement...all due within the next week.
Brilliant.

Posted: 10/4/06 at 6:48pmI have to write a paper tonight for my sociology class. It's a short assignment, and an easy one to bs, but at the same time, it's very clear that when the professor thought up the assignment, he didn't put a lot of time into it at all, and that he was very careless and just sort of gave us the first crappy thing he came up with. I hate feeling like I'm pulling things to say out of the sky, but that's really my only option with this, because it's a terrible assignment. Since he basically wants us to guess, I can say anything I want and be right, but since he's an arrogant bastard, he's probably a tough grader, and it's frustrating because for the paper he wants, there IS no answer to his question. Finding an answer to the question the assignment poses would be a 15-page research paper, not a 1,000 word essay.

Exactly. Thats like my quote for life right now.

Argh. I hate the bureaucracy involved with accomplishing ANYTHING within my school.
And for the record, I'm not depressed.

Posted: 10/4/06 at 7:45pmSo if we're having a bad day competition, I think I might win for today. I had to take biological waste from one building to another to be sterilized, and the bag came open and (a few, but still) plates of bacteria fell out, and I had to pick them up and hope that none of the bacteria were hazardous. I got a stern talking-to for not cleaning a machine last week that takes at LEAST two people to lift, and I was there by myself. I had to clean said machine, with someone else's help, thankfully. I spent half an hour filling up boxes of pipet tips, only to DROP one of them -- twice -- and have to put all of the 200 tips into the holes again. I had class and I still wasn't finished with work, so I left the agar I needed to pour into plates in the hot water bath until I was finished. I come back, and the temperature of the hot water heater wasn't high enough, so half of the media had hardened already, which means it was wasted (and it's expensive and takes a lot of time to make). By that time, it was 5:00 and the professor was impatient with me to finish so he could leave. Oh, and somewhere in all of that, I think I pulled a muscle in my back because my messenger bag was huge today. It kind of hurts to move. *doesn't*
