so me and my roommate were watching a video on my laptop earlier and apparently it over heated and just shut off suddenly. scared me to death. i hate computers, yet im on them ALL THE TIME!! go figure.

Depends what you're looking for, FW. I loved Marie Antoinette, but I realize not everyone will.

With Marie Antoinette, the entire movie is really pretty. But in The Prestige, Hugh Jackman is really pretty.

You can buy cheap aluminum baking pans (of all kinds. Just look in the baking aisle at your neighborhood market.

Since I moved away from home, my little brother and sister have been playing with my GameCube. Well, I just called my grandmother and she's gonna ship all the stuff to Vegas. Sorry, kids. Big Bubba needs his playfix.

Yea but I wanted to make it now.
And I did. I improvised. A Lot.

I put it in like a regular tin thing...like kinda what you put in to make brownies. The tin was too big so I kinda plopped all the stuff to one side hoping it was going to stay there.
Well, since heat kind of melts things and then it gets liquidy, it started speading.

I should have made some kind of tin foil blockade.

I just took it out and it looks pretty good. I may not have cooked it the way I was supposed to but I'm sure it'll taste the same.

I hope.

I have left over cinnamon rolls in the fridge. YUM!
I hate the icing that comes with the prepackaged rolls. It's good, but there's not a lot of it. So, I make my own. It's ridiculously easy, if not really messy.

1 C powered sugar
3/4 C cream cheese
1 C butter
1 t vanilla extract
a pinch of cinnamon

And stir. It makes tons, but it's sooo good!

We just finished watching PRAY, this weird asian film. It's part of the "Tartan Asian Experience". The other four or five films we've watched by them have been really scary, but this was really sad.

It had nothing to do with praying.

I need to go to bed but I just can't lift myself out of this chair.

My birthday's very soon, and so far, the dinner party seems like it will be a bust, but the show promises to be wonderful :).

I barely slept. Ahhhh. I turned my computer off last night around 3:15, even though I just wasn't tired. I figured I could probably fall asleep. I wasn't tired at all, so I stared at the ceiling for a while and channel surfed a bit. Queer as Folk was on Logo, which made me happy, so I started watching that. Sometime after 3:30, I started hearing singing, and it was driving me insane. I thought maybe my neighbors were playing music, but I figured out that someone must've been playing it downstairs or in the alley between my building and the next, because it was pretty much just reverberating down there and coming up through my windows, even though they were closed. So that bugged me for a while and I couldn't sleep, even though I was getting a little bit sleepy. Around 3:45, my stomach started growling, but I certainly wasn't going to start snacking at that time of night. Before I knew it it was 4:00, and another episode of QAF was on, so I started watching that. I fell asleep sometime in the next 15 minutes or so, but at 7:10, the stupid music woke me up again. I went back to sleep, but my alarm went off at 9:30 and I am not happy. I want to go back to sleep after my exam.
