It's taking everything in me not to watch the fifth one, I'd much rather get the DVD and watch everything in chronological order.
But I know what you mean about Jim and Pam, they're a frickin' power couple!
I actually love the very first episodes the most. I feel that those beginning episodes had something special about them, that kinda got lost as the show progressed. Don't get me wrong, these new episodes are pretty hilarious too, but still, nothing compares to "Diversity Day" if you ask me!
Pam: "If I have to do this, based on stereotypes that are totally untrue, that I do not agree with, you would maybe not be a very good driver. Dwight: "Oh man! Am I a woman?!?"
Does anyone know if this Thursdays episode will be a new one? I can hardly wait!
No, he was 2 years ahead of me. It was a very small college (Denison University in Ohio), so everyone knew everyone and he was very involved in the Theater Dept. and an improv group that we had. Some additional irrelevant info - Jennifer Garner and James Frey went there too (but they were a few years after me).

this season they really started giving the ensemble some funny stuff... Creed has some CLASSIC lines already... and watching drunk Oscar was hilarious!
the Christmas episode had my favorite jim line... "do you take any requests" to andy playing the zitar(don't know spelling).. andy says "i do" and jim says "please stop"... Priceless!
Count me in on the Office love. I've spent many a weekend watching entire seasons on dvd. The season, so far, has been spectacular... between Dwight and Jim & Pam, what more do you want?
Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy
I can't go on tonight
Everything he does on the show is acting, and he's brilliant.
He's actually a very smart guy.

The Office is one of the few shows that I absolutely never miss (well that and 30 Rock) There's no way I'll miss an episode of those 2 shows or I'll throw a monumental HISSY!!!
"I have the prettiest mother..."--Rhoda Penmark~~~ The Bad Seed
I dont know where the other Office love thread went, but I'll jump on this one, too! My daughter bought me season 4 for Christmas. yay! My collection is complete
This is one of my favorite shows of all time, I never miss it. I have the DVDs and I'll watch them all the time, the show never ceases to make me laugh.
I loved when Andy and Oscar were bonding over that trip when they drunk dialed Angela, and the next morning Andy said something along the lines of, "I had to go to Canada to get to know a guy who sits twenty feet away from me. And he is delightful!"
I don't know why, but I laughed for at least five minutes.
LOVE IT! because of this, me and one of my friends have a lot of inside jokes because our other friends don't watch it. we always say 'that's what she said' instead of just laughing when someone says something that sounds wrong.

SO does anyone here love the bloopers?? oh man... i can watch those on the DVD and will laugh my a$$ off forever! this is what bloopers on DVD extras should be about!!!
watching Rainn laughing during his talking heads is hilarious... i honestly don't think i can sit there and keep a straight face if i was an ensemble member...
favorite blooper... season 2 when Rainn goes "you're evil like a hobbit" and EVERYONE just starts cracking up... haha... John Krasinki's reaction to that was classic...
I LOVE the bloopers as well! I'm always crying from laughing so hard.
On the season 4 bloopers, I love the one where Stanley was like, "WE ALL GET TO GO HOME!" and everyone starts dying, so hysterical.
Also, on the season 3 ones, where Jim and Andy were at the Stamford branch discussing Call of Duty video game strategies with the boss, and they're yelling at Jim for using the wrong gun and they just can't make it through the scene.
It looks like they're having so much fun, I would love to have their job.
Haha, seriously! Right after I got into this show, I got an internship that has a similar "feel" as The Office. Is it the same? NOT quite. Oh what a shame...
