Frankie Valli And The 4 Seasons Ice Show - 10/25/08

Just got back from the event in Chicago. No, Frankie Valli was not iceskating, but did say "Backstage I was teaching the ice skaters a few moves. No, I can't even walk straight for god sakes."

Anyways, what it was was ice skaters skating in front of Frankie Valli and the four seasons. It was really amazing to see ice skaters skating to Frankie Valli singing live. At some points, I had to go back and fourth in a song between the skaters and the band. It was really cool, though.

Even though Frankie Valli isn't very popular, it was still almost sold out for both Frankie Valli and the skaters. For 75, he could still sing fantastic. It blew me away.


Anyways, it will be airing on NBC on Sunday at 4 PM/3 PM (Says the program I recieved)

After the initial concert, they spent a half hour refilming the mistakes and rough cuts and encouraged everyone to stay. Me being the big fan of four seasons I am (Thanks to Jersey Boys) I ran down to the front row. And, Frankie Valli came over and quickly said hi to everyone in the front as he was leaving the stage. It was really cool and I basically mentioned I was a big fan thanks to Jersey Boys.

I can't wait to see it on NBC.
